Wabasha Food Share is moving!

The last day in our current location is August 15.

Our first day in our new space (Mittel Schule building 611 Broadway Ave, Milligan Ave entrance) will be Thursday, August 22.

New days and hours will be Tuesdays from 1-6pm & Thursdays from 9am-12pm.

Having twice as many carts and more space at this location should help. We're also going to set up a system so each shopper can quickly identify themselves with a QR code when they check in and when they're ready to have their weights recorded.”

You’re invited! Join forest bathing walks for older adults and caregivers.

Come along with certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Sara Holger, for this series of forest bathing walks designed for older adults and caregivers. Forest bathing is a mindfulness practice of walking slowly in nature and using your senses to “soak” in the forest atmosphere which provides numerous wellbeing benefits.

Walks are offered one Wednesday a month through October from 10am-12pm.

Wabasha County Senior Action Team invites seniors to participate in Connections Café Activities.

Looking for a place and time to gather and socialize with other seniors or community members?

Join this group for monthly hands-on activities, games, entertainment, or music.

There is no charge and all seniors, their family members, and care partners are welcome!

SAIL gives back by hosting a training open to any Wabasha County schools in August.

Lake City Public Schools implements farm to school activities for preschoolers to high school aged students.

Raised-bed garden experiences are offered to their preschoolers and year-round greenhouse experiences are offered at Lincoln High.
