A calming space was created at Plainview-Elgin-Millville K-3 to support students who experience behavioral challenges, become overstimulated, or simply need a quiet area to self-regulate.

Lincoln High School further supports regular movement throughout the day for staff and students with SHIP support.

SAIL takes full advantage of the things that the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program has to offer with

SHIP support.

SAIL was awarded Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) SRTS Boost grants two years in a row totaling $24,000. They will be adding adaptive bikes to their fleet soon.

Lake City Community Garden continues its self-sustaining program in a new location with SHIP support.

The gardens originally established in 2009 needed to move to a new location. SHIP supported the move with raised-beds, increasing accessibility so more community garden members could use the gardens and water lines were run to newly established plots.
