Students Achieve Integrative Learning (SAIL) finds creative ways to participate in Safe Routes to School (SRTS) activities.

SAIL has been awarded SRTS Boost grants two years in a row.

The school’s students are bussed to their location yet they find create ways to celebrate events such as Winter Walk to School Day and are fully committed to using their growing bike fleet.

E-cigarettes are not safe for youth.

Over one in five of Minnesota high school students who has tried e-cigarettes has never tried any conventional tobacco products, like cigarettes or chew.

Parents, know the risks of tobacco use and the different types of products kids are using.

Wabasha County Food Access Network highlights member organization; Wabasha County Parent Support Outreach Program.

Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) is an early intervention program for families with young children. The program provides concreate financial supports paired with intensive case management.

“Attending the Wabasha County Food Access Network helps keep me current on food access so the information can be passed on to my clients without delay. This is important since the majority of families involved in PSOP also utilize food banks to supplement SNAP and other resources.”

Mothers Milk Depot launched in Wabasha making it more convenient for local donations.

A milk depot is a milk collection site in the community that stores human milk from approved donors in a freezer. The milk is then transported to the milk bank for processing.

There is a high demand for approved milk donors and every drop of your precious milk counts.

Our current SHIP grant cycle began November 2024 and goes through October 31, 2025. We have awarded $15,517.00 in Community Partner Funding Awards and have $3,350.00 remaining in our budget.
